An elegant wine with creamy peach and nectarine on the nose, underscored with light aromas of pine and sage. The graceful palate shows classic Okanagan stone fruits of ripe peach and apricot. Pair with fresh seared BC steelhead.
Winemaker: Robert Summers
Growing conditions: The 2017 growing season was one of marked contrasts overall, however, it was an outstanding year. The season commenced with above normal precipitation, resulting in rapid early vine growth which necessitated increased grapevine canopy management in late spring. The wet spring was followed by a classic Okanagan summer of hot, dry weather. This provided ideal growing conditions for superior vine growth and berry development and ensured the grapes reached full phenolic ripeness.
Winemaking notes: Sourced exclusively from Blocks 4 and 9 on our estate, the Golden Mile Bench terroir expresses a distinct minerality in this wine. The Pinot Blanc juice was fermented to dry at cooler temperatures in stainless steel with carefully selected yeast strains.

Pinot blanc doesn't get much attention. It's neither noir nor grigio, and to be fair it's often much more neutral in flavour. Here's a standout, though. Medium-bodied and unoaked, it's ripe, dry and vibrant, with pear, citrus and peach joined by stony minerality. Available at BC Liquor Stores at the above price (not including tax), at VQA and private British Columbia stores and at the winery through hestercreek.com.

This is a nicely bright and fresh pinot blanc with generous, broad typical almost tropical aromas of banana, peach, white flowers and vague spice. It is quite full bodied, rounded, soft and a touch warm, with just enough acidity. Pinot blanc can get blowsy, and this heads in that direction, but it finishes dry with a lemony edge. Good to very good length.

A nose of sun-kissed peach, golden delicious apple and apricot in a fresh, vibrant style. It’s perfectly dry on the palate with a full range of Okanagan orchard fruits and a clean, refreshing finish.
